Okay so, since we have a thread on what books we read, I figured we could have one on what movies we watch as well.  Now I'm a HUGE fan of movies and I pretty much like all kinds - action, drama, comedy, romance, sci-fi, musicals, oldies - you name it and I've probably seen it.  Personally, my favorite movie in the whole wide world is "The Princess Bride".  I LOVE that movie, even though it's kinda cheesy and unrealistic.  I've seen that movie so many times I can honestly recite the whole thing for you from start to finish.  So what kind of movies does everyone else like?  What's your favorite movie or type of movie and why?

I love princess bride to! Its a really good love and action movie! My 2 favorite movies out of all time are "Shes The Man" and "Sydney White" I absolutely LOVE those movies! I also love the notebooK! Thats like the best love story ever! I pretty much like all movies except science fiction I really do not like science fiction movies at ALL! (hope I didnt offend anyone)

Amanda Bynes fan are we?? haha. I love both of those movies. They made me laugh histerically. Especially She's the Man because it's based off of Shakespeare's "The Twelfth Night". That rocks my socks. The Notebook was okay. I mean I love the love story-ness but it was a bit too gooey for my tastes. I'm like the only girl in America that thinks that that movie isn't the best invention since chocolate haha.
And don't worry about not liking sci-fi haha! Everyone has unique tastes and stuff so it's all cool!

lol! Yeah I am an amanda bynes fan! lol! Yeah I love the notebook! I just think it is so sweet! And acctually I know quite alot of people that do not really like the notebook so... yea! lol! Yeah I hate science fiction! I dont know why its really weird but whenever I hear that another science fiction movie is coming out I'm like... "oh gosh... what is it now??" lol!

Haha, I know the feeling. I'm kinda that way with action movies. I mean I like them, but some of the plots are so over-used. And I think they make a lot of action movies as an excuse to show explosions and gun fights on a big screen. It just seems like that's the only focus of some action movies, so the plot kinda goes by the wayside. But I actually like some sci-fi stuff... for instance... the Matrix=the bomb. I love those movies. Those are pretty much the only ones I can think of though.
Okay this is totally random... but has anyone seen the 10th Kingdom? It was a miniseries a while back that got turned into a movie. It's like 6 hours long but it's awesome. It's one of my favorite movies.

"Where the Heart Is" is a great movie!

I'd have to say my favoirte movie of all time is "Across The Universe."

"Across The Universe" was trippy becuase the Beatles spent most of their career high on either pot or acid. It's okay though, their music rocks!

"Where The Heart Is" is just a really cute movie I love to watch when it comes on TV.

Another movie I really like is "Hitch." It always makes me smile.

i don't have a favorite really but i do love movies, i don't like "funny" movies like Naplean Dynamite. I also really hate scary movies. i really like kids movies and Veggietales! pretty much Disney movies and Musical movies... there are other ones that are reallly good but i don't have any favorites really
