Cool topic! Well I like nessa! I think that she is cool but of course she complains a little bit.... But she is cool! And She is a very sad character though if you think about it...
She is, I mean when we first she her she looks all happy and just wants to be accepted like anybody but I always got the feeling that she was depressed
Yeah me too! I think its because she was in the wheelchair her whole life until Elphie freed her from that.... but then there was boq that didnt really like her and was just pretending to, and then she found that out and she got even more depressed, and I think that is why she claimed herself as the Wicked Witch Of The East.
Yeah thats true... Because of Boq, and everything, That was to bad for her! And one of my favorite scenes from wicked is the wicked witch of the east, its to bad they didnt put that on the soundtrack!
Well there are countless reasons why they didn't and I think it would be foolish if they did. What do I know though? And Nessarose as an inherantly selfish and self serving person. How can you have pity on someone who cared so little for anyone else? She, of all of the witches of Oz, was the one who was truly wicked.
Well think about it... she was in that chair practically her whole life, and her father spoiled her very much... I dont think she is to blame for that though.
But think about it, She was a tyrant because she was lonely, Her father and Elphie were the only two ppl who truly cared for her and Suddenly they were both gone from her life, Like she said the only reason she stripped the munchkins of their rights was to make wasn't ever left alone again, She was still very much a scared little girl who just wanted to be loved
I do feel slighlt sympathy during the wicked witch of the east, but she is basicly a horrible person who became a tryant and wouldn't help her own sister. Does her motive of wanting to keep Boq with her justify the wya she treated all the munchkins? But there is such a beautifuk human side ot her that I love. She despratly wnats ot fit in at shiz, and is delighted when she thinks Boq finally likes her as a woman, and must be utterly herat broken to find out glinda told him to, and then to loose him because he is still in love with Glinda. it;s kind of the point of the show. Not eveyrthing is black and white. Everyone is a balance of good and evil.
which is one of the reason i adore her so much. nessa is the show,meaning everything about her is the message behind the whole show, hen u are raised and treated a certain way you begin to act how you have been treated, in her case a spoiled selfish brat.
