I just found these forums but the place looks so nice I thought I'd hang out. I have a cousin on another wicked forum, not sure what it's called, but she and I accidently stumbled upon this one for the first time last night. I thought it looked like such a fun place I might as well sign up.
My name is Emily but you can all call me either that or Nanny. I'm twenty-six years old and work as a Journalism and Media teacher for 7-12 grade at a local private high school. I just got married last July so you'll probably hear/see me saying/posting a lot about my husband.
I only have one full biological sibling, a brother, Tad. He's twenty and in his sophmore year in college.
When I was in 6th grade my parents got divorced and then when I was in the 8th my dad remarried. My step-mother's name is Maggie.
I have two half siblings from father's second marriage, Charlie and Brittany. Charlie was born about a year after they got married. He's twelve and in the ninth grade at the school I teach at. He skipped first and then third grade when he was younger. Brittany is the family baby and has only just barely turned five. She's the result of when Dad and Maggie decided to have one last kid a few years ago.
I also have six step-siblings. Jason, the oldest, is twenty-nine and works in the advirtisement for a small scale newspaper in New York. He's a single father to his ten year-old son, Tristan.
Jenniffer is next, she's twenty-seven. She's a flight attendant for Delta Airlines, maybe you've flown with her?
The twins, Kate and Chrissy, are twenty-one and both in their third year of college. Kate got married almost two years ago and has one-year-old twins of her own, Asa and Chloe and I swear they're the cutest kids in the world. Chrissy's pregnant, so I think the family's going to have another wedding to go to soon.
Andrew, the next down, is going to be nineteen in about two weeks. He's a freshmen in college, goes to the same school my step-sisters do and little brother do. (Our family sticks together.)
Last is Ryan, who is seventeen and in his senior year at the school I teach at. (When I started teaching here I pulled strings and got him, Andy, and Charlie in, it's a better education than public school.)
My step siblings have two more half-siblings on their dad's side and every now and then I play older sister to them also. Jasmine's ten and Justin is fourteen.
I know that's a lot of information but I'll probably spend a lot of time posting about my family on here. Not talking about them blatantly, that's off-topic, butn mentioning them from time to time because I almost always have a way to relate one, or more, of them to a story. This way you guys will all have a way of keeping track of them.
Anything else you guys might want to know? Also, please respect that this is my family and though I've given out first names I won't be telling you anything else about them that may help define who they are. Privacy is crucial, especially with so many teenagers and small children in the mix.
Welcome nanny! Wow! You are the first person in this forum to say ALOT about yourself! lol! Welcome here! If you have any questions then PM me or anyone else here... we will all be happy to help you!
Hi Nanny, welcome! I too have a huge family (3 brothers and 3 sisters) and all of them still live at home except one. I have 23 cousins too. lol, makes for fun get togethers though.
Anyways i hope you stick around, we're in desperate need of new members. So how'd you come to be a wicked fan?

As I mentioned earlier I can relate a lot of my stories back to a brother, sister, or someone else close to me. A few years ago I was watching tv with the younger kids, I want to say it wasn't long after Dad and Maggie got married, and we started watching this movie. It turned out to be the Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister movie. Well I bought the book a few days later and over the years I've become interested in all of Gregory Maguire's work. Well when the musical came out I spent a few months totally hyped about it but lost interest after a while again. For a wedding gift my stepsister got my husband and I tickets to see it in London so I saw it last July and have been back into it for the last few months.
Your welcome! Well I think I am going to switch out some of the mods because they came here but then never came back, so I think that I will switch like 2 or 3 of them out for some of the new members and I make the mods mods, It just depends on if I think they would make a good mod
Oh. So there's little chance I'll become one? I just thought it would be neat, really. I've never done anything like that before and it doesn't seem too hard.
Holy! Well thank you very very much. I can't believe it. I barely just signed up. What do you need me to do as a mod? I mean... do I have any responsibilities?!? Thank you so much!
hey is there anyway i could become a mod? I wanted to ask for a long time but i thought you all would say no. I plan to stick around here for a while though and i do really like this place
