What Musicals do you guys like besides Wicked.


I absolutely absolutely love Legally Blonde, like i'm friggin obsessed with it. lol. I probably like it just as much as wicked. I also really like The Little Mermaid, Hairspray, Mary Poppins, and the phantom of the opera. Ooh and Les Mis too.

As far as older stuff i really like Cabaret, Sweet Charity, Guys and Dolls, Annie, Oliver, and Carousel.

there's lots of other stuff too

This could go into the General Musical Theatre Board, but I guess it's alright here too, if it's okay with o_s_d.

I'm a Sweeney Todd addict (the stage musical NOT the recent Depp film, it cannot compare to the stage musical, sorry all you fangirls out there).

oh yeah, that probably woulda made more sense.


I like sweeney a lot too. I saw the revival in New York and loved it. Nothing compares to original, lansbury and cariou rock.

Wow...Favorite musical...thats hard cuz i love 'em all, but some of my favs are legally Blonde, The Little Mermaid, Urinetown, Sweeney Todd, POTO,Beauty and the Beast, Guys and Dolls, Rent, and the Newsies

on snap! i love pretty much any musical. Hello Dolly, Sound of Music, Phantom of the Opera, Grease, Hairspray, Dreamgirls, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat, Cats, The Wizard of Oz, las mis! The list goes on! but my favorite is wicked!

Aside from wicked, Tanz Der Vampire and Elisabeth. Both are wonderful stories and have awesome music.

I've also heard that "Die Drei Musketeere," and "Dracula" have good songs.

Then there's Sweeney Todd and The Phantom of the Opera, which I know are good.

Anyone know Tanz Der Vampire or Elisabeth?

i don't know much about tanz der vampire. I know they tried to have an english adaptation on broadway but it didn't do to well
