So One Short Day has been very busy lately and can no longer run this site so she has very graciously passed this duty over to me.
Now I intend to come on here everyday and make sure this site doesn't fail because I like this board and I want it to grow more popular then ever.
So I want to make some changes but I won't do it without at least getting some input from you guys because I want to make sure everyone is okay with it. Though i have already combined both the ideas boards into a Talk about the forum board.
So here is my first idea. I want to get rid of the groups (glinda's popular friends, etc.) I think in theory this was a good idea but there aren't enough regular posters here to make it work. None of these boards get many posts and I feel like they are just taking up space.
I also want to get rid of some of the other boards who don't get many posts. I'm thinking about getting rid of the polls and just having people post polls on the anything board.
I would also like to spread the word about this site and get more publicity so if you have any ideas on how to do this, please help me out!
Thank you guys so much, work with me and i'm sure we can make this board great (ugh that sounds cheesy I know). Please give me your input on these issues and anything else you'd like to see changed

First off before I make any suggestions, I just want to say I post at very large, well managed forums (Insider Gaming Network, www.ignboards.com), so I'd like it if my ideas were taken in great consideration. I'm not saying they're better than anyone else's, but you get my drift.
Idea #1: Why was there a whole board dedicated to "How to Join A Group" (same goes for the "List of People in Group Board")? All that needs is a thread under a board such as "Rules, Suggestions, and Site News" or something like that.
Idea #2: More musical theatre material (outside Wicked). A lot of us here, me included, are actors/actresses ourselves and I think would really appreciate something other than just a general board.
Idea #3: Better grammar in board titles. To be honest, it looks tacky to me and is a bad reflection on the board. No one cares about how you type in posts (as long as they can understand it and you're not constantly in text speak), but I think a better layout would look better for the main page.
Idea #4: I think a new background (or other optional ones) are necessary. At least change it to something different than the same pic spread all the way across the page. A collage of Wicked pictures, perhaps?
Idea #5: Yes, drop the groups. Maybe bring them back when we get more members.
Idea #6: Maybe we could get more members by current users asking their musical theatre friends to join. If we do add more musical theatre stuff to the boards (as I suggested earlier), this could help attract that base.

You guys seem to have some good ideas ;) Hope the forum becomes succesful ;) I will get on every now and then but sorry but I have been extremely busy lately.. dont ask why, But I hope yall get it up and runnin :]
I think that the General Musical Theater Page should be just Theater in general. whether it be musicals or non musicals as im sure most actresses and actors would be interested in both. but as far as the changes go i think they are awesome
