Well, you check gunstores and sporting goods stores. If you have a Federal License, you can get them shipped straight to you. Or you used to here in California our wonderful government has voided all that and now you have to pay them an annual price of 200$ or so, and 200$ upfront to enjoy the privileges your federal license gives you.
I swear I'm moving as soon as I can. California is just plain crazy now.
Exactly, especially with all the hoops you need to jump through to get a license in the first place. CA just hates guns. I gather Canada is the same way.
Thats a nice collection. As Ive recently been doing archery I need to get all my own equipment soon. Ill post some photos when I get it if your interested.
Yeah I'm going to get a recurve. I tried compound for the first time yesterday and when I first tried I couldnt even pull the string back haha, but the instructor lightened it for me and then I was alright. It was pretty fun but I love recurve so I'm going to stick with that.
I have an old bow that was my grandfather's, so I play with archery every now and then, but my target's kinda lame... And I tend to lose my arrows in the grass for a while. You'd be amazed at how hard it is to find neon orange in the grass. Otherwise, I like my knives and swords 0:)
Oh, I know how hard arrows are to find. I've been an archer for years, and I only recently stopped. So I've lost more than my share of arrows.
Fortunately, you don't need to go out and find where your bullets landed!
Swords and knives are fun too. I have a fun replica of a Confederate infantry sabre. And my rifle has a bayonet. Thats about it for the sharp stuff collection though.
Cool! I have Narsil from Lord of the Rings (sadly not the Nobel Collection, so it's not perfect) and a replica civil war sword I picked up at our local flea market for $15, but I'm not sure exactly what it is.
Oh, and I have a pretty military boot knife from the same flea market too 0:)
