Guilty Pleasure TV Shows/Movies

And no kids I dont mean the dirty type, no porn here. I mean those really lame of crappy shows that you love, despite the fact you know they are crap. The type of shows you dont tell everyone you like haha.

Ive got a few but one would definatly have to be Josie and the Pussycats.

And for TV it would be Young Dracula. Im 18 and I watch the kids channels so I can see that show haha.

I love chick flick movies. There so dumb and predictable but they leave me feeling all warm and fuzzy inside.

Haha chick flicks. Classic. Some of them are barable but some drive me crazy.

"pay tv"?

How does your tv system work? In the US we have cable and satellite, unless you are very weird and choose to have rabbit ears on your tv.

Umm well its satellite here too. So you can have free to air which is like 5 channels. Or you can pay for FOXTEL and get like 50 channels. I only have free to air but we are getting some new channels this year which is exciting.

Okay. We can choose between a cable provider (and get about 50 channels tops) and a satellite provider. I have satellite. So I get at least 200 channels.

Haha 200. Do you watch them all? And here I am getting excited about having 15

No. There's generally nothing on them. With 200 channels, I can afford to be picky about what I watch.

We don't watch tv enough to bother with paying for cable or satellite.

Okay... lessee... I always liked watching the kids shows on PBS when I could like Arthur and Clifford the Big Red Dog.

I'll have to come back to movies.

Movies are generally good.

Greatest one ever is "Casablanca"

What you mean is greatest in your opinion. Not just greatest full stop. Everyone has a film or too they think is better than any other.

Yes. And they put out those lists. Generally they place "Citizen Kane" first. I still haven't seen it. And they put "Casablanca" second.

I can't say I have very often.

After the Academy Awards I need to see "Slumdog Millionaire" now.

As a CA resident I have a different perspective on Milk. I have to say I laughed a little about the film.

[POLITICS DISCLAIMER]

For the past few years, we've had a little war in the state over gay marriage. We keep voting to ban gay marriage in the state, but the courts keep overruling it. This last time, we voted to amend the state constitution. That settled it (unless the courts find some way to overrule it).

I don't think Hollywood liked that vote, and this movie is their reply.

I'm not taking a stance on this issue, but I am talking about a controversial issue.

The reason why i laughed, was that Harvey Milk was a two-bit politician who only is known for two things: being gay and being dead. In my opinion, this is a manufactured "hero".
