IT IS AMAZING!!! Its really different though because it is a Christian book about a Prostitute so its very very different but it is a spin off of the book of Hosea in the bible so its really cool! I would definatly recommend it!

I just finished reading Wicked:The life and times of the wicked witch of the west, last night and loved it. Im currently reading second glance by Jodi Picoult.
I love Jodi Picoult and have read heaps of her books, i think around 10 or something. My favourite one is My sisters keeper, that ones also being made into a film starring Cameron diaz.

I'm currently working on Wicked: Life and Times etc as well. But I mainly read Star Wars books (and yes, I'm a SW geek). Write a lot, too.

If you were talking to me... yes, the original book. It sorta is like the movie. I like it.

I read a lot. My favourite books are those about normal people doing things that would be possible in real life, too. I don't like fantasy and scifi that much.

Some of my favourites:
Almost everything by Tuija Lehtinen. She writes books about normal Finnish young people. They feel so real and yet they're so fun that they make me laugh out loud, even if I'm reading the book for the fifth time. I don't think they've been translated.
Lucy Maud Montgomery's Anne series. Lovely old times feeling, very sweet and filled with old language I love (I've got 54-year-old copies of some of them :D). I've read them so many times...
Meg Cabot's Princess Diaries series. I love the idea of being a princess without knowing it, and these are just fun to read. I don't think they're realistic, and I guess they're pretty far from what's it really like to go to school in America, but still a story of a group of kids who put up a musical in a week manages to entertain me again and again. :D
And Sophie Kinsella's Shopaholic series. Chick lit, maybe, but I love them, especially the first and the second book.
Anne Gavalda's Encemble, C'est tout and Nick Hornby's Slam are also my faves. They've got a lovely feeling in them, though they're very different and deal with totally different subjects.

Maybe I should shut up here, otherwise I'll keep going on forever and be late for my comic drawing class... :D

yay, i used to be obsessed with the princess diaries!
That was always like a fantasy of mine, to secretly be a princess. I thought wherever she was from was a real country for awhile.

Hehe..Genovia...

I'll read pretty much anything, but I lean towards extremely lengthy books.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is loosely based on a short story of the same name by F. Scott Fitzgerald. I read the story and it, compared to the previews I've seen for the movie, is much better. There is no 'meet in the middle' concept.

Books turned into movies are either awful or excellent, never in between.

I havnt read the short story its based on but I loved the film. Thought it was fantastic, and my favourite part was when they met in the middle haha. It may not stay true to the story (how many movies do?) but Im glad they put it in, it was the best part.
