RE: What was your first time seeing Wicked like?

Production: Broadway
City: New York City
Elphaba: Stephanie J. Block
Glinda: Annaleigh Ashford
Date: January 20th, 2008
Time: 3:00 PM

One thing that was special about this show was that it was Carole Shelley's last.

SJB was absolutely amazing.

Stagedoored afterward and got SJB, Annaleigh, Lenny, David, Jonathan Warren (Chistery), and a lot of Ensemble's autographs!

Yeah, I did! SJB and Annaleigh were great!

And seeing Carole's last show was just an honor in itself!

I was on my honeymoon this summer and it was amazing! I couldn't believe that Phil, my hubby, actually enjoyed the show as much as he did. We didn't wait around for autographs though. After the show we walked around London at night for a few hours which was oddly romantic. It was a great evening!

I first saw it with idina and kristin and they were AMAZING! as always! I have not heard the soundtrack, seen anything or know anything about wicked when I first saw it, My sister said it was good and that she bought me tickets for it... I was about to not take them but I thought that I would give it a try and i am glad I did! I love wicked now!

There was one special thing about the show: when the cast came to bow, the guy playing The Wizard, Desmond Barrit, spoke to the audience. He told that they were collecting money for some children's hospital and asked everyone in the audience to give some money before leaving. I think it would've been cool if he'd said they were going to give the day's profit to the hospital or something, though, I bet they could've afforted that. And yep, I did give some money.
