It is!! Its REALLY good! But you might not think its to scary.. I just scare WAAYY easily! lol! I couldnt sleep for like a week after i am legend! lol!
haha i found i am legend pretty creepy too. and everyone i was with was all that wasnt scary at all. i thought the scariest part was when freds head moved in the street.
lol! Yes I found it VERY creepy also! That HAS to be the most scariest movie I have seen! Yes It was scary when fred was moved.. and I thought it was sad when his dog dies :(
i thought the dog was a guy the whole time until she died and i found out it was a girl. i also thought his kid was a girl but he turned out to be a guy too haha
AWW NUTS, I wrote a long, nice thing about my favourite films, then pushed the wrong button at the wrong time, and boom. All gone. Makes me always so mad when that happens, and I feel it happens to me all the time. ARRGHH
Still. My top 5 films, rewritten. 1. Big Fish - Always makes me cry. I recommend this for everyone. 2. Ratatouille - Always makes me laugh, and the animation is so great! 3. Sweeney Todd - I didn't even have the chance to see this in Finland, thanks to the +18 rating, and I had waited to see Sweeney for almost two years. Luckily we went to Sweden that winter holiday... I just love the music, and I've got three versions of this musical in my cd stand. 4. Blues Brothers - Another one with great music, and this makes me so happy every time I see it. Great jokes, too. 5. The Nightmare Before Christmas - A battle between Corpse Bride and TNBC. Today I happen to like TNBC more, maybe because of the great music (okay, okay, Danny Elfman did Corpse Bride's music, too...) and the fact it's stop motion (as is Corpse Bride)... You can probably see why it was a battle. :D
I personally prefer Nightmare Before Christmas to Corpse, but I think Beetlejuice will always be my fave Burton film. I just love the idea of ghosts being haunted by the living.
As far as PIXAR movies go its so hard to pick a favourite you know. Its a toss up between WALL-E, Ratatouille and Finding Nemo. All thier films are fantastic however. Did you see they have released new pictures from 'Up'?
Yeah. I'm really waiting to see Up, but we'll probably get to see it at least three moths later than the rest of the world, as the most films. Half of this years Oscar nominees haven't even premiered in Finland yet... x_x
I really like Beetlejuice too! :D And I guess I like Corpse Bride so much since it was the film that made me a Tim Burton fan. If I had grown up watching TNBC, like some people, or if I'd even seen it before I saw CB, I would probably like it even more than I do now.
I just saw "Defiance" yesterday. I cannot praise it enough. This is the best role Daniel Craig will ever play.
You must see this movie. Not only does it tell the tale of partisans resisting the Nazis, but it makes observations of human nature that will make you think.
I saw Frost/Nixon yesterday with my dad and his friend. I loved it. You've gotta be able to appreciate it for what it is though. Don't go in there expecting Happy Feet.
Its amazing what people expect of movies. My initial reaction at your comment was to laugh, who'd think that?
Then I realized people are stupid. Someone had their 5 year old at Defiance, watching Nazis murder Jews and looking at a lot of bloody action. Then I realized you were right.
Defiance is a true story about a Jewish resistance group in Belarus/Lithuania/Poland founded by the Bielski brothers. They fought the Nazis in the Second World War and saved 1,200 Jews from the Nazis.
Its a damn good movie. Daniel Craig (James Bond) plays Tuvia Bielski, the eldest brother and guiding force in the group.
haha yup. This is only my third year in Canada though so I really don't have much of a Canadian accent. I guess i probably sound more british then anything else, only lived in Spain till I was 5 so i've still got a bit of it but it's really mostly British. Either way I stick out like a sore thumb around these parts
