"Really, Its alright," Fiyero said, looking away annoyed. "Fiyero why cant you learn to listen to me?" "I am listening!" Elphaba rolled her eyes. "Men." she sighed.
As they were walking, They came upon an covered wagon, and on the side of it said" The great Wizard, Come Have your fortunes told!" So Fiyero said,"Elphie come on lets go and have our fortunes told," After a moment Elphie,"ok i guess that sounds like fun"
So they walked up to the wagon and before they ca say anything a man pops out, who strongly resembles the former Wizard of OZ. He stares at Fiyero and Elphie for a moment then quietly Whispers,"Elphaba, is that you?"
no one knew what to do. everyone was completely stunned. Then after a full five minutes, Fiyero broke then silence and said,"well first things first" and he punched the wizard squarely in the nose
"Well, we could always start with that was for what you did to Elphaba," Fiyero said. His fist wound tight again for another bold strike, "And this is for -"
A green hand smacked the Wizard hard in the face beating Fiyero to the punch and punchline, "And that was for what you did to Fiyero."
The wizard very slowly got up and dusted himself off, " Excuse me as i recall Elphaba You are the one the casted the spell on fiyero in the first place"
Elphaba, Red with fury(which made her look like christmas) Shouted,"I only did that to save him, and which i wouldn't of had to do if you and horrible Madame Morrible didn't try to capture me" Elphie turned away for a moment, Then in a flash she swung back and hit the wizard in the stomach,"THAT is for Glinda"
The Wizard, who by this time had quite enough of getting hit said," Elphaba, is that anyway to treat your father?"
Elphaba, already powered up and ready to give the Wizard what he deserved for what he did to Oz and all of it's loyal Animals, nearly tripped over her own feet in shock. "My what?"
Hands before him, trembling palms spread in effort to protect himself from further abuse, the Wizard peered through his fingers, "Your, um, father."
Fiyero laughed, "Okay, that was a good one. Now seriously, go ahead and punch 'im again, Elphie."
Elphaba looked at the wizard with anger in her eyes," You are not my Father, my father was the Mayor of munchkinland, granted he didn't like me but he fed me, put clothes on my back and sent me to school so where do you get off, we aren't in Oz anymore so you can drop the whole" I'll treat each citizen of oz as a son or daughter" crap, cause it doesn't work with me, i know how evil you really are
Suddenly The wizard pulls a small green bottle from his jacket pocket(identitcal to the one elphie used to hide underneath her pillow at Shiz)
The Wizard looked her in the eyes. "I'm sorry for what happened, I always wanted to be a father, but when I found out that I was... I thought you had died... I'm so sorry..." He lapsed off into tears and collapsed at Elphaba's feet sobbing.
The awkward silence lingered. Abruptly a little dog ran straight into Fiyero's leg yapping noisily. The Wizard and Fiyero looked confused. Elphaba's eyes widened in a look of realization. "Toto? Toto! Come back!" A young girl dashed in after the dog, nearly blundering into Elphaba. "Oh, I'm dreadfully sorry!" she automatically said. Then she stopped and looked at the "Wicked Witch of the West" with a look of shock and recognition. Immediately she fainted.
Instinctively, Elphaba reached out to catch the girl and carefully lowered her to the ground. The annoying little dog yapped at the green woman darting around.
"Yeah, I'm not too happy to see you either!" she snapped at the little animal.
"Um..." the Wizard began hesitantly. "I'm not sure how it happened, my dear, but you and your -" he glanced Fiyero up and down - "gentle-straw-man friend have both successfully passed from the Land of Oz into Kansas."
Both Elphaba and Fiyero sported incredulous looks.
The Wizard looked surprised. "Well of course! Where did you think you were?"
Elphaba sighed and lowered her head and Fiyero's shoulder. Fiyero spoke up for her. "We didn't exactly ask anyone where we were, a scarecrow and a green witch aren't exactly welcome sights for people."
"It's - well... nevermind. I believe that even if I were to show you, you still wouldn't understand the concept," the Wizard concluded. "Let's just say that for today you don't have to be worried about being harassed for your looks."
Fiyero blinked. "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's head for town so we can be chased out tomorrow!"
"Well wait a minute",said the Wizard," what do we do with dorothy?, we can't exactly leave her here"
Elphie stares at the wizard,"Do you really expect me to help the girl who "melted" me?! I honestly don't care what you do with her, she's not my responsibility!"
