Alan walked into the bar and saw nessarose sitting next to elphaba. Alan is a friend of Boqs and wanted to tell nessa something, So he approached her, "Hello nessa, I thought that I should tell you, Boq really likes you and wants to go to the dance with you."

Alan knew that Boq didnt really love nessa, but he didnt want to hurt her feelings so he just replied, "Yes, But uh.. Umm.. He said he doesnt want to see you until the dance because.. uh.. He.. uh.. has a surprise for you!" Alan knew he didnt make any sense

unknown to the rest of the people inside, one fox was sitting looking though a window. her eyes were watching every movement of Fiyero as she pondered over what she had heard not long before. Fiyero was working on a secret mission for the Wizard? Sketch grew tense at the mere thought of the wizard and gracefully stood up and starting walking away. Dr Dillamond would have to know all about this straight away.
