RENT

Discuss.

I just saw the non-Equity tour back in April (front row, center section, orchestra level seats).

I absolutely love the show!

Oh i love RENT too, it's amazing. I've never actually seen it live though and now that's it's closing on broadway i doubt i'll get a chance. I like the movie a lot and i watch that a lot though. I saw a bootleg of the show and i liked that even more. the movie and show seem a lot different

I love the Seasons of Love remix with Stevie Wonder on the full (not just highlights) Original Broadway Cast Recording (yes, I have the full one).

I'm listening to it right now.

I swear Angel had a disturbing childhood.

It's really cool. They add in the reprise to the end (along with a few rounds).

It is really good. I have the full one too.

I saw RENT in 1998 and I liked it but it was hard to watch. I lost many friends to HIV/AIDS in the late 80's and early 90's and the show was very much a tribute to that time. I remember AZT being the only drug they had and how sick it made everyone. When the movie came out I watched it again and I like the movie but it's still a yank back in time when Roger and Mimi have their beepers remind them to take their AZT.
