I was most certainly not being sarcastic.
HSM, Legally Blonde, and Grease all have the same message: Don't live up to stereotypes. If you try, you will fail miserably. In all three, the protagonists try and fail, and realize in the end you don't have to live up to stereotypes and celebrate with a bubbly song (We're All in This Together, We Go Together...hear a theme here?).

uh i don't really think elle tries to live up to a stereotype. It's more that she is a sterotype and she's trying to be more then that. Did you see the show?

it shows that the world is not based on looks but what you can bring to the table, even though looks do matter, they aren't the most important...thats what makes it great
ok yea its not a broadway classic or anything like that...but i would NOT say it sucks, nor would i say its the best musical out there
