He he he... I just got back from a visit to South Dakota. A balmy high of 18 degrees fahrenheit, with a wind chill making it feel like 0.
And the day before it was 60 and sunny.

Hey...I'm in Edmonton. If it was 32 Farhenheit I'd be happy. Instead we've been at like -30 Celsius (I don't know what that is farhenheit) but it feels like -45 to -50 with the windchill. But at least here its dry... down there on the coast, where you are Mari... its a wet cold. I feel sorry for you guys.

Well its Summer here in Australia which is usually scorching but so far its been very mild. By this time its usually all bushfires and staying indoors with the air con on but its still coolish. Its creepy. Thats global warming for ya. Apparently we are going to get our usual Aussie summer around feb though. Which sucks as thats when I have to go back to school.

It's windy and hot here in southern California. The weather here can't seem make up its mind. The plants and animals sometimes get confused over what season it is exactly.

Almost raining, wet everywhere since all the snow has melted, it seems to be dark even in the middle of the day... I hope it would at least freeze, it's pretty depressing when there's just water and grayness everywhere.

I can identify with that, it was a lot like that in Washington (where I was born)

Some friends of my family moved up to Bellingham to start a history camp about a year and a half ago. According to the mom it rains so much there that the weather stations have a phrase: "the sky has split", which means the sun broke through the clouds. The attitude towards the sun there is summed up in: "What is that strange, glowing, orange ball that's eating our clouds?" biggrin

My Grandparents lived in Bellingham for a while. Nice enough place. But the pulp mill really stinks.  disbelief

It will effect my Archery temporarily, and no it wasnt a lobotomy. I should be back at Archery in a few weeks though, I got a nice bunch of flowers delivered from my club. And AWO I'll take a photo of my bow sometime and show you. I just keep forgetting.
