Hahaha caught ya! Maybe I should keep upload photos that just show little bits of me haha. And its funny but Im actually the tallest out of all the people in that photo. Only im slouching so I look the shortest.

If you're lucky. Anyway as this is a thread about weather and I would to happily announce that school has been cancelled due to an epic heat wave Asutralia is having right now. How great is that? Schools never been cancelled becuase of the heat before.

I live in the Mojave desert. We're over 100 degrees fahrenheit in the summer, usually peaking around 110.

How bad is it down under?

Its getting about 45 degrees, hotter in some areas. Its just so dry though so bushfires are sparking up everywhere and all the trains have stopped working. Often the power goes out as well, they cant deal with the over use of air cons and fans and stuff. 45 = 113 in farenhiet;. Or something like that, so about the same as you. Just bloody hot!

Yup. We have the same problem. The whole state is on fire each year. But your heat is worse. Not by much, but its worse.

Mmm its just so dry you know. The problem with bushfires here is that our whole country is covered in eucalypt trees. Dry eucalypt trees full of koalas. The oil in the leaves are highly flamable so when a fire starts in them its almost impossible to stop. Just keeps raging on through.

We have a few Eucalyptus trees here too, and dozens along the cost. They are very pretty trees.

I feel for you being in that heat. I was in vegas when it was 119 degrees. When we went to the hover dam it was 50 degrees celsius.

Mmm its around 50 in some of the places in my state at the moment. Im lucky that im on the coast so its slightly cooler but not by too much. I went outside before and it was like walking into a big oven. Crazy.

There is a desert island off the coast of CA called Catalina, and I spent some time there. I found the best way to get cool was to swim for an hour at about 10 or 11 in the morning. After that it was just fine.

I just got power back. We lost it for about an hour or something. Loads of places in Melbourne still dont have any. Sucks to have no air con or fans in this.

I'm starting to appreciate the cold now.
I'm glad i don't live in spain anymore, when i'm there for the summer though it gets really hot, not as bad as what you all are talking about, but pretty damn hot.

Ok sick of this heat now! Our state is falling apart. Old people are starting to die from it, everyones getting heat stroke, theres fires everywhere and we have hardly any power and are in serious drought. All the trains have been cancelled and hundreds of people are stranded in the weather at train stations. Maybe a rain dance would suffice? Who knows but I want some cold weather now!
