RE: My Trip Photos

Cool. I'd love to see one. We have a lot of Golden Eagles where I live.

Very pretty. My favourite is the white bellied sea eagle. Its found in Australia and some places of Asia as well.

Very attractive bird.

Here are a couple I'm partial to: the Andean Vulture, Peregrine Falcon, and the Great Horned Owl.

I've never read or seen Harry Potter and I've always wanted an owl.

I'm scrolling the page down waiting the pictures to load and suddenly that owl appears out of nowhere... Creepy! :D Actually, it's a pretty animal, just look at those lovely eyes!

I was at a zoo in southern California, and they had a special bird show. They opened a container and a huge owl just like that one flew low over the crowd to the very back and landed. My mom was scared and ducked down as it flew over. I wasn't and just sat there admiring its huge orange eyes. Gorgeous bird.

I might get around to it sometime, but my reading habits are unusual. I just pick up a book at whim.

I really love P.G. Wodehouse.

You don't know Wodehouse? no

Surely you know Bertie Wooster and his valet Jeeves?

Fry and Laurie are magnificent.

I suggest you give the books a good read, they are very easy to follow and very fun.

I love summer vacation. I suppose you'd refer to it as "holiday"?

I wonder how that difference occurred. Its very interesting that the US came from Britain, and yet is so different.

Yeah linguistically there's a lot of little differences. Canada's pretty similar to the US I think, the lingo there seems to be pretty similar. And three years in Canada has made me start talking more like you lot.

Have you picked up the stereotypical "eh" that rarely comes out?

Funny you should mention it! I didn't really think I had but since I've gone back to London my cousins have pointed out me saying it a couple of times now. Guess I'm more of a Canuck then I thought...

The US have a lot of words that they have changed for themselves. Words that countries like Australia, England and a lot of other english speaking countries spell the same way except for you. Like 'colour'. I believe you spell it 'color' instead. Its odd, we dont know why you change small things in a few words like that but theres a lot more like them. I tell you what though it's funny listening to my media teacher rant about how Americans cant spell. He once got in trouble from an American parent about it haha.

Color, gray, endeavor, etc.

We also overuse the comma.
