They sure will! I was running out of rubels heaps, and at one stage had to use an ATM entirley in Russian. No english at all, we were just sort of guessing and were quite surprised when we actually got any money at all.

Ha yeah it was amazing. We didnt have as much success when it came to ordering MacDonalds in an entirely Russian place though. Even after pointing we never got what we wanted. And being Vegetarian I never ate anything but the chips.

lol. As an American I always have momentary confusion over "chips" since we call them "fries". Our "chips" are crispy rounds of fried potato.

Yeah we call them chips to. Chips are the crispy ones like and then we say hot chips for I suppose what you call fries.

Its funny that we speak the same basic language, and yet there are such differences?

Yeah it is funny. I used to talk to an American person frequently and we often got lost in conversation as she just didnt understand some of the things I was saying. And by the way is it true you spell thigh (as in the part of your leg) as thy? Or was that just her bad spelling?

Haha good I was getting worried when I saw it. She seemed to really think that was how it was spelt though.

lol.

I've learned to drop the apostrophe because you never know what is right. Contraction for "it is" or possessive?

Grammar has never been my strong spot.

I know where to put the apostrophe I just never use it online. Not in forums anyway. When writing and essay or something formal however I have fairly decent grammer.

I'm probably "the-one-who-always-forces-anyone-else-to-watch-movies-she-thinks-are-good"... :D Some years ago I made all my friends watch Grease, then Corpse Bride (I even managed to create one new Tim Burton fan by doing that! :DD), then Blues Brothers, then Sweeney Todd, then Cats dvd...

lol. I've done that too from time to time Starlene.

But I have to differ with you and Critter on Tim Burton. He freaks me out unbelievably.

I agree... no kids' movies should be that dark. I like the style of animation, but that's about it. And let's not forget what dark characters Johnny Depp plays... his only semi-normal character was in the POTC movies.
