Yeah I was on a forum tha let you do it. I dont mind ours but it would be cool if maybe it was different once in a while.

It's a bit of an old topic, but I agree. I've got a pretty big screen, so the background picture shows two times there and it looks a bit messy. And maybe the forum colours - the blue, pink and green - could be a little bit less intense, too?

yes i'm definitely down for a change but since i'm the only with access to change it you guys would need to let me know what colors and background you want.

I whipped something together, this is the kind of colour scheme I'd suggest:

I'm hoping that the now pink links in normal forum posts would be green or red, not blue, though. I meant the blues to replace just the pink bars and the text on them on the front page. And maybe that Emerald City logo could be rewritten in the new colours, too?

I based the colours on this background suggestion I quickly put together: Imageshack link, based on the photo at this link. The picture is huge and in no proper resolution.

This is nothing definitive, though. It's just something I'd like to see. But maybe someone else has better ideas?

I'm aware no one was asking for this... But I created an image how this site would look like with the changes I suggested, with green picked for the link colour: Click here!
It's huge again because I did it to look right with my own screen, resolution 1680x1050. And the blue used on some of the text isn't 003366 but 6699CC, I thought it looked better. And the blueish colour on the user names isn't a web colour, but I could see the 6699CC there, too.
Sorry for the lazy work with the texts and the ugly font... And I noticed the subforums aren't all in the current order, neither. But you get the picture. :D

So, what does anyone think?

I think a wider image, maybe a panorama of the emerald city set? Or maybe the map?

hmmm, laziness on my part but I wonder if I could give one of you access to change it? I have the password and everything so as long as you didn't like delete the board or something crazy I think it would be fine. If anyone wants to volunteer.
